Brain injury is the most devastating disruption in a person’s life and also affects the lives of the injured person's relatives. Since the potential for normal development is diminished after brain injury, the uncertainty of that person's future causes a cloud of depression and pain which envelopes everyone who associates with him or her.
Many of us take our abilities for granted. From birth we discover new skills and develop a fuller understanding of the world around us. For children with disabilities this process isn't so easy. It is difficult for them to make sense of the things we take for granted. Reinhardt’s Place exists to help these children reach their full potential and live a fulfilling and personally more rewarding life.
